In meetings in Maryland, Bob (names changed) brought his wife, Mary, forward for healing prayer. She had a rare upper spinal condition plus arthritis in many parts of her body.  “I have been on many prescription pain pills because of years of continuous pain … I had a horrible childhood. I have blanked out much of the memory,” she said. We led her through much healing and deliverance from evil childhood treatment and heartache. The Lord brought a deep peace into her life and freed her from a number of tormenting memories. We prayed a short healing prayer in that mighty, matchless Name of Jesus, and God instantly healed her and took all of her physical pain—forty years of pain.

      She gave up all of her prescription pain medications and came to our meetings two days later still painfree and radiant with the peace of God. She looked at least ten years younger.

      Then they brought their grandson, who gave his life back to the Lord and was delivered from much depression. 

     On the last night their 15 year old granddaughter was beautifully saved and healed from much abuse. Both of these teenagers have a new life ahead.

      Beth (not her real name), was released from depression, and unforgiveness toward herself.

     God healed an older man with leg and back pains. He even began to jump up and down to prove his healing. His wife received a mighty touch from years of depression. There was a glow on her face—the presence of the Lord’s Glory.   We stand in awe at the mighty things He does.  

     After healing prayer in Jesus Name, a pastor’s wife in Raleigh, NC testified that all of the pains had left from the fibroid tumors from which she had suffered for 13 years! “I am finally free of pain and even witnessing the tumors shrinking.”

     An elderly sister at the same meeting was set free in Jesus Name from about 30 years of continual pain in her neck, back and lower part of her body and so much emotional pain was healed. She left radiant with joy.

      A brother had pains in his back, arms and continuous headaches—never pain-free for years. Through the mighty power of our Jesus, he left pain-free. Such a mighty God we have.

     Is this really true? Is this your day to be healed? My opinion and your opinion don’t count! Let’s take an adventure into the Word and find out.

          “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church . . . And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. . . Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:14-16).”

      Jane became pain free from back pain and migraines in a few minutes, Mary from chest pains in five minutes, and Lynn, from reading this teaching, was healed and pain-free from a brain condition in a few minutes—all through the love and healing power of our King Jesus, the one who shed His Blood for you and me. Our next door neighbor, Mary, had been in pain for three years from fibromyalgia. I had her look at Jesus on the cross and thank Him for taking her sickness upon Himself. Her pains left and she was instantly healed. Later she followed the instructions on how to keep her healing and she was still painfree, and healed by the mighty power of God. 

      How long have you been sick or in pain—5, 10, 20 years? Jesus is going to heal you today and His will is for you to become symptom free, pain free today (or in a few days at the most)!  

     How do I know this? Because it is in the Word of God that Jesus has already purchased our healing and taken our pains through His redemptive work on the cross at Calvary ...“Surely he hath born our griefs, and carried our sorrows (and pain) ... and with His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4).”   

   Faith is believing God can't lie and that He will keep His promises! You and I believe that God can’t lie, which proves we have faith! This opens the door for you to receive today. With a few more steps or insights you will be ready for your miracle! So keep reading.   

Never Pray for a Healing with the Words, “If it be your will.”

     Why? Because these are words of unbelief. He is a “faith God” not an “If it be His will God!!!” It is His will to heal you and the time is today. “ . . . What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them (now), and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24).”

     Let's take a look at some more of the Lord's promises that it is His will to heal you! . . . "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24) . . ."Who forgiveth all (my) thine iniquities; who healeth all (my) thy diseases (Psalms 103:3)." . . . If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it (John 14:14).” . . . “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you may ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you (John 15:7).”

     Faith is based on Christ's finished work on the cross--through His shed blood. He desires to heal you. He takes pleasure in it. Irrespective of your past disappointments, this is your day to be healed. Expect it. Look not to your faith, but to the faithful one, Jesus Christ. Through reviewing the above promises, let an expectation, even an excitement arise within you that it is, indeed, “My day to be healed.”

Is it God or Satan who brings Sickness and other Curses into Our Lives?

      Let's see what the bible says. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).” We see it is Satan, not God who brings sickness and other bad things into our lives. That's good news! Can Satan do that to us without a reason—without an open door?

Is There Always a Reason for the “Curses” of Sickness, Accidents and/or Financial Problems in our Lives? What does the bible say?

 “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come ...   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption ... (Proverbs 26:2, Galatians 6:7-8).”   We have the free will to resist the flesh and the devil from causing us to sow negative seeds—seeds of sickness and death. Through His Word and His Spirit, God is always trying to lead us into truth and into life more abundantly.

     Satan is looking for an open door through which to bring sicknesses, accidents, and other “curses” (bad things) into our lives. He can do us no harm without such openings. Let's find from the Word of God what these open doors come from and see how we can close them.

What Opens the Door for Satan to put Sickness and Death upon Us? Let's See What The Bible Says.      

     “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that he will not hear (Isaiah 59:2).”

     “Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted (Psalms 107:17).”

 “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death (James 1:15).”

     “ . . . For if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. . . (Romans 6, 13, 14).” 

        Jesus said, “For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death (Matthew 15:4).” Wow! We had better forgive and honor our parents!

    “For the wages of sin is death (and sickness), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).”

     “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are . . . He that committeth fornication (or adultery) sinneth against his own body (I Corinthians 6:18-19).” This also includes pornography in all of its forms!

     “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth (John 9:31).”

     According to the Above Scriptures (and Many Others) we need to repent of All Sins in Our Lives to Be fully protected from sickness,  accidents, financial challenges, and/or death coming to us and/or our loved ones. 

Repentance, Inner Healing, and Deliverance

      Repentance from sin includes changing our habits and our thinking. We must be sure we do a deep work of repenting, preferably with tears or the travail (“groanings”) of Romans 8:26. Also inner healing and deliverance from emotional or mental woundings will help us immensely in overcoming unforgiveness,  wrong attitudes, and other sins.  This will then enable us to be able to fully close all open doors to sickness in our lives.

     See “Travail-Self-Travail” on my website at www.laughcry.org. Don’t take this lightly. It is a major key to your healing, and/or to keep your healing. It is also of great importance to your future spiritual growth and an overcoming life. Through such repentance, the door will be opened for each of us to live in dimensions of peace, joy and intimacy with God and loved ones that we did not dream possible. One sin leads to another and to another causing a synergy or uniting of sin and a greater openness to Satan and sickness.

     Each of us must search our hearts and repent of every sin (sins of omission as well as those of commission) the Holy Spirit brings to our mind, particularly “sins” one through four below:

1     The Sin of not putting God first (Lukewarmness). This is the root of many of these other sins.  Are we diligently seeking God?   Let's each of us search our hearts, and if need be, deeply repent. Signs of lukewarmness:    a) No daily prayer or quiet time with the Lord,  b) Very little studying and meditating on the Word of  God, c) Wrong priorities: Is our focus on prayer, the Word, church, and God's desires, or on television, sports, the newspaper, making money, and mostly fulfilling our desires, d) Do we love our children, our spouse, money or other things more than God? This is known as the sin of Idolatry.  … Let's say this prayer, “Lord, I repent and from this day forth I choose to put you first in my life.”

2     The sin of not paying our tithes (10%) and not giving generous Holy Spirit directed offerings. See Malachi 3:8-11. This opens a door through which Satan can cause our finances, spiritual life, relationships, health, and joy to suffer greatly.

3     The Sin of unforgiveness toward God, others and/or ourselves. Do you deeply resent, even hate one or more persons or do you still feel deeply wounded, or rejected by others? Most of us do! Make a list of everyone who has hurt you now, deeplyforgive them and let the resentments or roots of bitterness go.  We also need to seek deep healing of our emotional wounds, rejection, trauma, and heartaches of the past. In many cases we will also need deliverance from evil spirits oppressing us such as fear, depression, negativity and occultic spirits.

     We need to repent of the sin of unrealistic expectations of ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, and “yes”, our pastor and other church leaders. “Lord, I repent and (if married) I give my heart 100% to my wife/husband. … Lord, change me!”

4     The sin of negative words,  grumbling and complaining, and ingratitude--of not being thankful to God for our many blessings, including our “blood-bought” greatness in Christ—our being made in His image!  How do we react to stressful, negative events? How do we react to unpleasant people or circumstances? I have had to do much repenting! Even when I have had victory over my words, I often have had to repent for “grumbling and complaining” in my thoughts. How about you?

5         The roots of this sin is unbelief, pride, self-righteousness, and hurts in our lives. We complain (and worry) because we don't believe God's promises to us. “There is death (physical, emotional, spiritual and financial death) and life in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).” Jesus said, “That which comes out of His mouth defiles and makes a man unclean.”

      Complaining can be deeply hidden and even be a way of life.  But we can change! A complaining or critical spirit opens the door for Satan to attack us in many areas. Thousands of the Israelites were destroyed in the wilderness by “fire of the Lord” because of complaining and the unbelief that went with it. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Daily meditation on God’s word will produce faith, remove worry, and make us well. God has plans to prosper us. Let’s do our part!

6     The sin of sexual lust. Impure sexual thoughts, words, and/or actions are counterfeits of the holiness of marital sex, and are major sins in the Body of Christ. “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge  (Hebrews 13:4). It is anointed and godly to have a fulfilling passionate sexual oneness in marriage, but outside of marriage sex, even in our thought-life, is a death-producing sin! When a marriage partner reveals in conversation to the opposite sex what should be reserved for their spouse, this is spiritual adultery! It will often open the door to actual adultery.

7     Generational sins. First we must repent deeply for our own sins! Then forgive one's mother and dad. Next in Jesus' Name renounce and repent for the generational sins with great authority. See yourself behind the cross and the four generations, including your Mom and Dad in front of the cross. Thank Jesus for taking the curses upon Himself. Confess the sins of your family line (unto the third and fourth generation), and ask God to forgive them.

8       The sin of not taking care of our body through proper types and amounts of food (including avoiding drugs, alcohol, and nicotine products) and through adequate exercise and rest (including the Sabbath rest). A sick or tired body has fewer defenses against evil thoughts and temptations, and it is more difficult to pray and study the Word. A well, energetic person can hear God’s voice better, and stay free more easily from sin and from deception. Addictions of all types open the door for Satan to attack us in many areas, including physically, emotionally and financially.

1) Feeling unworthy. If you are saved but haven’t repented of the above sins, do it now. You have been made worthy by the Blood of Jesus. If you haven't received Him as your Savior, do it now.   Ask Him to forgive you and come into your heart. Surrender your life to Him. Say, "Jesus, come into my heart. I surrender my life to you completely. I receive you as my Savior. I love you, Lord, and will follow you the rest of my life.” Now you are born again, you are saved, and you are now worthy!!!

2) As mentioned earlier, He is a “faith God” not an “If it be His will God!!!” It is His will to heal you.

3) Believing God puts sickness upon you. In John 10:10, the bible clearly shows it is the “thief,” Satan who puts sickness upon us. “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I am come, Jesus tell us, that you might have life and that more abundantly.”

     Will you step out in faith in agreement with God's will and say, “Yes, yes, yes, I am going to receive my healing today, now, immediately?” In Jesus name I agree with you!

     Check carefully in your body for any pain, discomfort, tenderness, or numbness or other symptoms. The healing has already begun and your pains or other symptoms may already be gone!

      Expect your pains or other symptoms to be completely or substantially gone in a few moments because God is your healer. Healing is available because of Jesus’ death and shed blood on the cross, because of his 39 stripes on the whipping post.

     Raise your head very, very high and with your eyes closed picture Jesus on the cross and also picture Him on the whipping post being beaten with stripes. Next you can picture the risen savior. Thank Him for shedding His Blood and suffering for you. Thank Him for providing healing for you.

     In Jesus Name I speak healing to your body. In His Name I command every evil spirit of affliction to go, every pain, every sickness, or injury to leave. I command your spine to come into perfect alignment, every pain, numbness, stiffness, deafness, blindness, or other symptoms to go. I command, in Jesus Name, depression, emotional, or mental conditions to go, and asthma, heart conditions, cancer and every other sickness or disease to leave, and every injury to be healed.

     You demon of sickness, affliction, or depression come out in Jesus Name. I also command any spirit of rejection or heartache to go in Jesus Name.

      Now with enthusiasm begin to thank Him loudly (even shout your thanks to Him: I am showing you how to be healed!) over and over and over that you are healed. Our King Jesus has just healed you. Thank Him that the sick or injured parts of your body are totally healed. Thank Him many times while still looking at the cross (picture it as best you can). Yes, keep thanking Him. Get excited! Get excited! Get excited!

     All pains, numbness, stiffness or other symptoms should now be gone or be much less (sometimes the symptoms will not all leave instantly, but will leave in a few days or longer, but you are healed now)!  

Check to see if any pains are left. If they are only partially gone, in Jesus Name we command any remaining pains or other symptoms to go.    

      If your symptoms come back, and Satan will try to bring them back many times, you must, in Jesus Name, command them to go and stand strongly on His Word that you are still healed. You must fight to keep your healing!

     If some pain or other symptoms remain, pray a blessing prayer over every person who has hurt or deeply disappointed you. Forgive them, and release them. This opens the door to healing and closes the door to Satan putting the sickness back on you. Keep praying and blessing them until the pains leave completely.

     Now that you have received your healing, follow these instructions below on “How to Keep Your Healing.” This is super-important. Do it now or you may lose your healing.  

(Make 3-7 copies for yourself and review them throughout the day for many days)

    GET EXCITED about your healing. Praise the Lord Jesus with great enthusiasm because you have received the healing Jesus purchased for you on the cross at Calvary through His shed blood. Praise God and rejoice—even loudly.

    Will the devil try to steal your healing? Yes! How? He will begin to bring pains back or other symptoms to make you think you have lost your healing! You might even feel worse than ever for a few moments.   In Jesus Name you must with authority command these pains or other symptoms to leave. You must fight hard to keep your healing.

        As a powerful faith confession, write down the date you received your healing (usually today) . . . Month         , Day        , year        . Now do some dancing and rejoicing!

       Make a decision that you are not going to lose your healing! Then review these instructions THREE times a day for seven days, follow them and you almost certainly will keep your healing! Remember make 3-7 copies and put them in many places. These are acts of faith.

1. During the next 24 hours, thank God 25 times for healing you! With excitement declare, "Jesus, I am healed and delivered through your shed blood. I am healed, I am healed! . . . And I thank you, I thank you, I thank you for my healing. Thank you Jesus." Keep thanking him until the pains or other symptoms never return, which may be a few days, weeks, or longer!

2. In the name of Jesus, command any returning pains (or other symptoms) to go with great authority.  Jesus took your sickness on the cross. He loves you! You are healed! Don't let any of the pain return. Fight the "good fight of faith." The pains may briefly return many times—a few days, weeks, or even a month or two. Eventually they will NEVER return—because you are healed!

3. Testify to at least three people, telling them in detail with excitement the healing miracle God has given you. He is wonderful. Jesus is mighty. He is our Savior, king, healer, and deliverer. By His stripes YOU are healed! Praise Him over and over for what God has done for you.

     A Reminder: ... Repent now for the sins of lukewarmness (and put God first in your life), unforgiveness, grumbling, complaining, and impure sexual thoughts, words, or actions. It is God’s command that we accept and love ourselves! Repent for the sin of self-hatred or self-rejection.   The above “sins” open the door for Satan to put sickness or oppression on you!   Also have a daily quiet time with God. Seek intimacy with Him. Keep speaking words of life, words of faith—His Word.
